- We will open ourselves collectively to the Power and Grace of the Mother's 121st Birthday with readings, chanting and meditation.

- There will be an Indian Classical Vocal concert by Shri Santanu Bandyopadhyay. Santanu, a resident of Sri Aurobindo's birthplace, Calcutta, is the present torchbearer of the rare Vishnupur gharana of Bengal and is an old friend of the Center. The concert will be held in the Center's premises. Santanu will be accompanied on the tabla by Shri Samir Kumar Dey and on the harmonium by Amrita Banerji. A suggested donation of $10 is being requested of all attendees

- Friday, April 23, 8 pm - 10 pm.
- In honour of Mother's Final Arrival at Pondicherry, there will be a sitar concert presented by one of India's premier sitar maestros, Ustad Shahid Parvez Khan. Ustad Parvez will be accompanied on the tabla by Shri Subhen Chatterjee, a leading young tabla player from Calcutta. The concert will be held at the auditorium of the Philosophical Research Society in Hollywood and tickets are $20 and $15 respectively. Tickets may be obtained in advance for the reduced rates of $18 and $12 respectively.

- The collective observance of Mother's final arrival at Pondicherry with readings, chanting and meditation.

- Starting Saturday, May 1
- Shri Bikram Ghosh, one of the best and most brilliant contemporary tabla players of India, will be offering tabla classes every weekend (Saturdays and Sundays). Individual sessions will be one hour each, arranged by prior appointment and cost $35. Bikram has been regularly accompanying Pandit Ravi Shankar for the last five years and is another close friend of the Center.
