- Birthday of the Divine Mother
- The Mother was born Mirra Alfassa on February 21, 1878. We carry in this section a photo-darshan of the Mother, a description of the Mother of Radiances from Sri Aurobindo, the Mother's words on how she looks upon her devotees and a passage from Kapali Shastri on the place of the Mother in Sri Aurobindo's yoga.

- Birthday of Auroville
- On 28th February, 1968, was laid the foundation of Auroville, a township situated close to the Sri Aurobindo ashram and founded by the Mother, its name connoting the City of Sri Aurobindo as also the City of Dawn. Aspiring to embody an integral collective life of the future, the Mother saw this planetary city as a prototype of the global realization of Sri Aurobindo's ideal of human unity and the cradle of the superman. With the advent of the new millenium, the consciousness of Auroville seems to have risen to a new plateau of collective realization as global attention focuses ever more strongly on the Mother's experiment being worked out here. The Sri Aurobindo Center of L.A. was designated by Mother as an "Auroville Center". In this section, we carry the Mother's Dream, which is the basis of Auroville, the Charter of Auroville, the Mother's words on what is required to be a citizen of Auroville and reproduce a letter by Anie Nunnally, one of the early residents of Auroville, presently associated with the Center at L.A., who reports on her recent visit to the city.

- The Supramental Manifestation on Earth
- On February 29, 1956, the Mother participated in a stupendous experience which brought to fulfillment the work for which she and Sri Aurobindo had laboured since their joining forces in 1920 and even before - the manifestation on the earth plane of what Sri Aurobindo has called the Supramental Consciousness. This year witnessed the 12th anniversary of the leap year occurrence of this momentous event. Here, we feature Sri Aurobindo's translation of the Rig Vedic "Hymn to Usha", Goddess of the Dawn, who is a supramental power preparing the earth for the full manifestation. This is followed by the Mother's description of the occult event and her message given on April 24th, 1956, pertaining to it. We also carry the Mother's experience of the Supramental Ship, had by her a few years later and providing a graphic insight into the present colonization of the earth by the supermind.

- Collective Yoga
- The need of the present phase of Sri Aurobindo's yoga, following the supramental manifestation and particularly in this new millenium, is what the Mother has called a Collective Yoga. Here, we reproduce a conversation of the Mother's in which she outlines what she means by this.
