Smt. Priti Ghosh
Priti Ghosh is a resident sadhika and artist from the Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Pondicherry. Those who have visited the ashram would be familiar with her evocative paintings which hang in the front room of the Dining Hall. In this issue of Jyoti we feature some of Priti's paintings.

Pandit Budhaditya Mukherjee
Among the foremost sitar players of India today, Budhaditya Mukherjee will be touring the U.S under the auspices of the Center this Fall. On October 14, he will be offering a sitar concert at L.A. to the work of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother.

Ila Zadrozny
Ila, originally from Brazil, spent many years at Auroville, holding several very responsible offices and at the forefront of a number of community projects, such as Samasti, the Pitanga Hall and the Transition School. She has recently left Auroville and resides in Spain, but "once an Aurovillian, always an Aurovillian" is the best way to characterize her. Here, she speaks in the first person and introduces herself.

Mrs. Mary Dane
Mary was a veteran and faithful member of the Center and wife to one of its directors, whose sojourn on earth came to a close on July 2, 2000. Here, we carry a remembrance of Mary written by Anie Nunnally, and read out at her memorial service on July 14 at the Center.
